Astro Boy: The Brave in Space

This theatrical adaptation brings together three selected episodes from the classic Astro Boy television series: Robot Rocket, Earth Defense Troops, and The Last Day of Earth. Originally broadcast as episodes 46, 56, and 71, these stories were re-edited for cinema audiences. Earth Defense Troops draws from Osamu Tezuka’s Number 7, with its concepts adapted for the Astro Boy universe. The theatrical release also features newly colored animation covering the entirety of Earth Defense Troops and selected portions of The Last Day of Earth.
